ARTIST STATEMENT
SIRUI YANG
Sirui Yang's art practice delves into the deep-seated connections between humanity and the natural world. She has a strong passion on how aesthetic forms in nature have inspired the development of her jewellery projects in creating its unique aura. Through the manipulation of light, colour, and a variety of techniques, which conveys her personal sense of vitality in nature. With biomorphic shapes that resemble living creatures, Sirui tries to blur the line between the organic and the artificial, encouraging viewers to contemplate the interconnectedness of all life forms, and to experience a sense of healing and personal growth.
