ARTIST STATEMENT

LIXIAN WU

My jewellery practices are inspired by abstract art, with a particular emphasis between nature. Through the integration of mediums such as gemstones and pearls, it infuses jewellery to a greater sense of distinctive characteristics. By capturing textures and forms, I aim to reflect the dynamics and essence of nature in my creations. This is not only limited to aesthetics, but also delving into the fundamental values of emotional, vitality, and creativity that are inherent in the natural environment. Additionally, it reveals the potential for the combination of art and nature in contemporary jewellery.
