ARTIST STATEMENT
ELISA ZORRAQUIN
Elisa Zorraquin is a contemporary jewellery artist interested in fostering connections through her work. Currently pursuing a PhD at RMIT University titled “Crafting connections: how emergent material practices in jewellery build community”, her playful, interactive pieces invite conversation and are designed for multiple wearers, blending functionality with artistic expression. Influenced by her industrial design background, she aims to create jewellery that bridges the mundane and the poetic, transforming everyday objects and moments into treasured experiences. Her work highlights the importance of appreciating and exploring the beauty in daily life.
