ARTIST STATEMENT
YUTIAN SANG
I like to juxtapose different elements into a composition, as there can be unlimited possible combinations, just as life with endless choices and outcomes. Of late, I prefer to use ready made and images of current realities to enrich my works, as ready mades and images have historical contexts. These are elements in our daily life, which we have to contend with, to accept, to respond, and to treasure. After all, life is ephemeral.
