ARTIST STATEMENT
TEEGAN HORAT
Teegan Horat is a multidisciplinary artist based in Naarm / Melbourne, working across various media including silver, ceramics, found objects, and illustration. Her research work interrogates the materiality of objects and spaces, aiming to uncover and reflect on the histories of human interaction embedded within them. Her jewellery is characterised by recurrent natural and celestial motifs, drawing on historical forms to create pieces that evoke reverence and sentimentality.
